Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Akira’ has been released in cinemas. It is the action-packed film which is directed by AR Murugadoss, who has earlier worked with Sonakshi in “Holiday.” The film has created a huge buzz among movie-goers, considering that the actress plays the central character in this out-and-out action film.
Story of the movie: The story of the movie revolves around Akira Sharma (played by Sonakshi) who comes to Mumbai from Jodhpur to get herself enrolled in a college but gets into a major tiff with the goons of the college. The story is how she deals with the problem. She alone handled four corrupted police officers in a bid to prove her innocence forms the crux of the story.
Star Performance: As protagonist, Sonakshi Sinha has delivered a sterling performance in the movie. It is her career best acting, which is the main highlight of the film. On the other hand, Anurag Kashyap also fit in his ACP role. Konkona Sen Sharma and Amit Sadh also performs good. Akshay Kumar’s cameo role is something which the audience would definitely love in the film.
Music Direction: All music composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The film’s music is good and its background score is also good.
Direction: After directing male centric films like Ghajini and Holiday, AR Murugadoss created ‘Akira’ with Sonakshi. And of course, the hard work is seeing clearly in his film. Your interest remains in the film till the end. Despite from action, thriller and suspense, Murugadoss could not present some uniqueness in the film.
Watch Or Not: It would not be wrong to say that ‘Akira’ is the best film of Sonakshi’s career. Because, this time she brings action-packed film. So, do not miss it, just go and watch.
